The temperatures are finally starting to feel a bit more like spring here in Minnesota, and that means the spring and summer RV seasons are just around the corner. Keep an eye out for some of these awesome events happening throughout the Land of 10,000 Lakes this spring, and you may just enjoy the most rewarding RV season yet.

The Spring Carnival and Slush Cup

Spring offers some of the best days of skiing and snowboarding. It’s not necessarily the snow conditions that attract visitors, but it’s all of the fun happening on the hill. Head to Giants Ridge in Biwabik on March 14, for the annual Spring Carnival and Slush Cup. Take advantage of the ski area’s 35 runs, two terrain parks and tubing park while you enjoy all of the fun activities the Spring Carnival has to offer.

St. Patrick’s Day Parade and Clan Banquet

New Ulm is one of the best places to be in Minnesota for St. Patrick’s Day. Join everyone in New Ulm as the town turns Irish for a full day on March 17. Watch the famed St. Patrick’s Day Parade at 5 p.m., in the heart of downtown, then head to Don’s Pub for the after party and Clan Banquet.

Lino Lakes Maple Syrup Festival

Celebrate the arrival of spring at the Wargo Nature Center in Lino Lakes with a day of family fun and plenty of maple syrup. The staff at the Wargo Nature Center will teach visitors about gathering maple sap, cooking it down and making maple syrup. Visitors will also enjoy crafts, a scavenger hunt and tasting delicious maple treats. The Maple Syrup Festival will take place on March 22, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., and admission costs just $4 per person.
