Visit Black Hills, South Dakota

Stormy skies over the Needles area in the Black Hills of South Dakota.

“Go west, young man, go west” was first used in 1851 by John B. L. Soule and later reprinted by Horace Greeley in 1865. It was a saying that many took to heart, at that time, and moved to the west to set up a home.
