When you’re an avid year-round fisherman, it’s easy to find flaws in most trailers on the market. Fancy decors get ruined by dirty shoes and fishing equipment, and there’s usually no safe and smell-free place to store fish. For these reasons, Coachmen created a specific travel trailer with ice (and every day) fishermen in mind — the Ice House.
What is the Ice House?
The Coachmen Ice House is a camping trailer made just for you — with easy-to-clean floors and furniture, four in-ground ice holes and the comforts you need to cook and clean up after a long day of fishing. Even better, you can actually lower the trailer down to the ice and fish from a bench inside your RV, so say goodbye to frostbite and hello to a more comfortable fishing experience.
The Ice House Layout
Here at Pleasureland RV Center, we have a variety of Coachmen Clipper Ice Houses in stock for a variety of campers. Travelers who desire a more bare-bones setup will love the standard 15 ICE model, which features a full kitchen with a two-burner range, sink, refrigerator and plenty of counter space as well as a fishing bench, dinette and bunk area. With room to sleep four people, you’ll all appreciate the comforts of your Ice House trailer.
If you’re looking for a little more upgraded version of the 15 ICE for year-round fishing, indulge in the “Seasonal Package” and enjoy air conditioning, a 1.9 cubic-foot refrigerator and a full wet bath for cleaning up after long days of fishing.
Ice House Features
With tons of storage space, a fold-down bunk, comfortable dinette, pre-wiring for solar power, an interior stereo system, a diamond-plated exterior and so many other features tailored specifically for fishermen, you’ll be amazed at the comforts and conveniences that the Coachmen Ice House offers.
PleasureLand RV Center
Here at PleasureLand RV Center — your home for new and used RVs in Minnesota — we’ve got the Coachmen Ice House to suit your fishing needs. And right now, we’re taking over $5,000 off the MSRP of all of our 2014 Coachmen Clipper 15 ICE travel trailers, so stop in and drive one off our lot today.

With its lightweight construction and smooth profile, the 2014 Keystone Premier makes towing easier and increases fuel economy. On the inside, the Premier offers elegance and comfort at an affordable price. And with 13 floor plans ranging from 22 to 37 feet including bunkhouse models, there’s a Premier that will fit your family’s needs and preferences.
Interior
The Premier has 4 decor options to choose from, all of which complement the raised panel hardwood cabinetry and decorative wall border. Vaulted ceilings add to the look and really open up the space, and Trekk linoleum gives you that hardwood floor look. The kitchen features a high-rise faucet, refrigerator with 8 cubic feet of space, and high output range. Smaller floor plans have a U-shaped dinette, while the larger ones have a booth dinette. A Visionary sofa is standard in most floor plans, and larger floor plans give you a fully carpeted living area and add two swivel rocker chairs as well. From here you’ll be able to watch the 26″ LCD HDTV in comfort.
If you like the convenience of having direct access to the bathroom from the outside, you can choose one of the models that adds an exterior bathroom access door. This makes it easy to hop into the shower, use the foot-flush toilet, or just grab something out of the solid wood medicine cabinet while avoiding tracking mud through the trailer. When it’s time to hit the hay, you’ll have a comfortable queen bed as well as a mirrored wardrobe to keep your clothes organized.
Exterior
The Premier has an aluminum frame on top of a 6-inch and 8-inch I-Beam. R-11 insulation is in the floor and roof, while R-7 insulation is in the laminated fiberglass walls. An aerodynamic design along with the quality paint job and aluminum wheels make this a good-looking trailer from the outside. And if you want to cook outside, you can choose one of the floor plans with an outdoor kitchen. You’ll also have the convenience of an electric awning, speakers, and shower on the outside too.
Options
- RV-Q Grill
- 15,000 BTU A/C Upgrade

The summer of 2013 is behind us and along with it, the warm temperatures. While there are many who bemoan the passing of summer, there are some really great reasons to enjoy RVing in the fall.
At Pleasureland RV, your Minnesota RV dealership, we thought it would be timely to remind you of 10 great reasons to love the autumn in your RV.
-
The amazing fall colors. Probably at the top of everyone’s list, the changing trees and brilliant colors are truly a wonder to behold. Living where we do, it is easy to forget that some people from the south make trips up north each autumn just to bask in the colors. RV’ing gives us a front row seat.
-
Campgrounds are less crowded. For those that enjoy a bit of solitude when RV’ing the fall is an amazing time. The whole feel of the season is more laid back, quieter, and at a slower pace. Fall gives us a great time to sit back and relax.
-
Cooler temperatures. This time of year it is possible to sleep with the windows open and turn off the A/C. The air somehow seems cleaner and fresher.
-
There is less traffic. The fall means fewer cars on the roadways and less traffic jams. This makes travel more enjoyable and less stressful.
-
Lower gas prices. Generally the end of summer leads to lower fuel costs. This can help the travel budget and may even lead to longer excursions.
-
Less chance of thunderstorms. Once the heat of summer dissipates, the chances for severe thunderstorms seem to dissipate as well. This can make for quieter, and safer RV trips.
-
New RV models are out. Fall is a great time for RV’ers because the new models are out, and even in you are not in the market for a new RV, it is fun to take a walk-through of the new models.
-
New fall recipes. A change of seasons brings about a change in the foods we eat. Seasonal foods like pumpkin, squash and apples play a bigger part in our diets and we seem to move from barbecues to casseroles.
-
Football. For those who like college and pro football, “tailgating” in our RV’s while watching the games is hard to beat.
-
A sense of gratitude. In the hustle and bustle of the summer, we can sometimes forget to be grateful. In the fall, we sense our days in the out of doors are limited for the year and we seem to be thankful.
Enjoy your RV this fall. PleasureLand RV Center invites you to visit us to see the 2014 models and to get your RV ready for the winter.

The windows are tinted and frameless to help keep out the bright sunlight, and your 12-volt power awning can be extended and lit with the attached LED lights, so you can have cookouts at night without needing to have additional light sources.
Inside, a seating area is separated from a fitted kitchen that offers an oven, stove top, and counter space for you to work on. The flatscreen TV adds a little class to your living room space, and you can easily watch TV from the sofa or dinner table if you’d prefer. The appliances come in black, and the dark wooden features blend well with light, airy furniture and an open walkway.
If you’re looking for a trailer that works for multiple people, this is the right choice. The “RVer” lifestyle really doesn’t apply strictly to RV owners. There are plenty of RVers who drive a truck with a trailer attached, and a fifth wheel trailer can be just as great as any other option on the market, especially when it’s the 2014 Keystone Avalanche.
This new model will make you rethink the notion of how much luxury should cost. Though technically a regular old consumer grade model at just under $70,000, new, once you take a walk around inside the new Avalanche, you’ll wonder why it doesn’t cost twice that.
The authentic leather furniture package alone sets the interior apart from many RVs and trailers, but it’s really just the start. The cherry cabinet doors certainly make an impression, as well, and the free standing counter top wouldn’t be out of place in a million dollar New York penthouse apartment.
Of course how a trailer looks on the inside doesn’t matter so much if it doesn’t also feature everything that you could possibly need from a home on wheels. Beyond the stunning array of furniture and design, you also get a dual air conditioner package, a forty inch LED TV, which is nicer than many of us have in our houses, and a fireplace, if you can believe that.
At 37 feet, the trailer is roomy enough for any individual or couple, even with a dog or a cat, and with the hideaway bed in the sofa, big enough for a guest or two, as well.
The 2014 Avalanche really defies a lot of preconceived notions about the RV and trailer market. It’s surprising to find such a luxurious trailer at a mid-range price, and it’s a fifth wheel that can stand up to any motorhome on the market. Even the LED lighting system offers a touch of class to the trailer.
If you’re set on driving an RV, and not a trailer, then the Avalanche might change your mind. Roomy with a lush interior, the Avalanche offers a luxury lifestyle on the road. And be sure to come by PleasureLand RV Center for all your RV needs.
